Mafo has sold several thousand doors to a large number of Navies around the world. The current design of a virtually maintenance free door started around 1987 and is now used by the following Navies:

  • US Navy:
    • San Antonio Class (LPD 17)
    • Arleigh Burke Class (DDG 51) All doors from DDG 103 onward.  Exchange program of approximately 10 doors per ship, aboard of almost all of the ships of Class (DDG 51 - DDG 102)
    • Freedom Class (LCS 1) All frequently used doors.
    • T-AOE-8 6 doors (test doors of an exchange program of all frequently used doors)
  • US Coast Guard:
    • Ice Breaker USCGC "MacKinow"
    • Ice breaker USCGC "Healy" (All existing doors are being replaced by Mafo doors)
  • Israeli Navy:
    • Frigates "SA’AR 5"
  • German Navy:
    • Tender Type 404 “ELBE Klasse” - Replacement of several doors on all ships
    • Fleet Service Vessels Type 423 “OSTE Klasse” - Replacement of several doors on all ships
    • Mine hunter MJ 352 “ENSDORF Klasse ”
    • Mine hunter MJ 333 “KULMBACH Klasse ”
    • Frigates F122 “BREMEN Klasse“ Additional doors for modification of ship type + (complete) equipped with ‘old-style’ Mafo Doors
